The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it can be alarmed concerning the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The service place produced for intervention encounters a higher inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, click here SASSA will mobilise additional sources to empower the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
